I became a fan of Rodney Smith aka Roots Manuva back in my days studying at Sheffield University listening to Brand New Second Hand, we meet at the under pass next to a pub called Dulo one night when I was out busking solo. He invited me for a drink and we became pals.

Pull up 7 years later bedroom producing in Glasgow I sent him this beat I made off the grind, think there was a mis chop in there or something strange and intentionaly wonky. this was circa 2014.

Amazing to make music with a hero and pioneer of UK Hiphop and lyrical genius!
